Ensure bread supplies: get your children trained

For the next snow, make sure that your children can make the bread that you can't get from empty supermarket shelves, writes Brian Byrne.

Sign them up to After School Baking Classes at Kalbarri Cookery in Kilcullen.

Suitable for children aged 6-13, a set of three classes are scheduled for this month, on Mondays between 4pm-6pm, 16/23/30 April.

Meantime, so the adults won't feel left behind by the kids, the next bread baking class at Armelle's Kitchen is Wednesday 11 April. Kenny will demonstrate the French technique of combining the ingredients and working the dough to give light airy breads.

Cost €50 per person, and the time is 6.30pm-9.30pm.
