You may not have heard about a neat blog of interest to those who have a different taste in drinks, but The Cocktail Tourist is well worth a browse, especially as it is written by a Kilcullen woman, writes Brian Byrne.

It's also something of a world travel adventure, as Avril Brennan from Old Kilcullen gets around the globe as part of her job in Human Resources with an international corporation.

Lovely tips on intriguing drink mixes, and super pictures of some of them along with appropriate food sometimes. And you could do worse than take her advice on pubs and hotels to visit and stay in, whether across Europe, America or Asia.
