GAA hosting Senior county challenge
Kilcullen GAA are delighted that we will be hosting the Senior County team who are set to face Westmeath in a challenge game on Saturday 9 December at 2pm, writes Club PRO Adam Timmons, as both sides step up their preparations for the 2018 season.
This game has been awarded to Kilcullen GAA so that we can officially launch our new floodlights on our main pitch, it will also be a way for the club to showcase to GAA fans from around the county our amazing and fast improving facilities, including our new seating in the stand!
The lights will be officially switched on by local Finé Gael TD Martin Heydon at half time, Marin was instrumental in Kilcullen GAA receiving a sports grant for the construction of our new dugouts planned for next season.
It’s more great news for the club following on from the unprecedented success of our recent Lip Sync Challenge event as well as our Dinner Dance held earlier in the year! Not to mention our continued success on the pitch with many of our underage teams playing at the highest levels in the county, not just competing but winning!
Don’t forget to wear your Lily Whites (or black and white if your a Rags Supporter) to cheer on the Lillies up close and at home in Kilcullen against the Lake County!
