Teachers Golf Championship

An inaugural Irish Teachers Golf Championship in Co Kildare is offering competitors a chance to win prizes worth a total of €1,000 for their schools, writes Brian Byrne.

The event at Dunmurry Hills Golf Club is due to take place on Wednesday 1 November, during the mid-term break. It is sponsored by the Examcraft Group, the mock examination providers.

Dunmurry Hills GC is located outside Kildare Town on the Rathangan Road.

The entry fee is €100 per 4-person team, which includes a goody bag for each golfer, and there is a shotgun start at 11am. There are golfer prizes totalling €500.
