Christmas lights in planning
The event will coincide with a Christmas Market to be organised in the market square on the day by local businesses.
In addition to the main tree, Kilcullen Community Action has decided that there will be three additional trees in the flower bed in the square.
At its most recent meeting, KCA members heard also that the owners of Hillcrest, Comer Properties, will participate in the Christmas Lights programme this year, and will also sponsor a prize for the best lights put up on a business premises by the owner. A competition for the best lights in a residence is also being considered.
