Catfish Keith in the BAG
I first saw Catfish Keith in Ballymore in the mid-2000s, and I was blown away, writes Roy Thompson of the Ballymore Acoustic Gigs. I still am.
He's right up there with my favourite performers; whether it's his foot-stomping, driving Delta Blues, or his softer, down-tempo Country Blues numbers, his mastery of the National guitar is to the fore.
Add in great stage presence, and those sharp suits, and Catfish Keith is the real deal; the whole nine yards! Just be there; you don't want to miss this!
Mick Murphy's Bar, Ballymore Eustace, Monday 23 October; Doors 8:30pm; Admission: €12.
Coming next: No gig on Monday 30 October Bank Holiday; See November's listing with the full Autumn Schedule.
