'Issues' to be addressed before estates taken in charge
'Outstanding issues' need to be addressed in two Kilcullen housing estates before they can be taken in charge, writes Brian Byrne.
Members of the Naas Municipal District were told that the issues in Cnoc na Greine and Cnoc na Greine Woods would have to be dealt with before seeking the approval of Irish Water to take them in charge.
The two estates were among a batch of six which are on a priority list and include Glendara in Kill; and in Naas, Ban na Greinne and Sli Chluain Aoibhinn, The Maudlings, and Racecourse Gate.
The matter had been raised by Cllr Fintan Brett, who had asked for an update on when they would be taken in charge.
