Great Brannockstown picnic
We had a very successful community picnic on Saturday with a great turnout from the local Brannockstown community, writes Anthony Carter.
All who attended were served tea, coffee and non alcoholic Pimms accompanied by home-made cakes and buns. We also had two bouncing castles, a book stand, history boards displaying photographs of times past in the village, rope a duck, knock the cans, face painting, and last but not least a GAA skills display.
We also had live musical entertainment during the day which was enjoyed by all.
