Gardens competition presentations tomorrow

Just a reminder that the winners of the Garden Competition organised by Kilcullen In Bloom will be announced tomorrow, writes Brian Byrne. Everyone is welcome to come along and cheer the entrants and the winners.

There were 18 nominations to the competition - the first time it has been run - and the prizes will be presented in the Town Hall at an event beginning at 1pm.

There will be four winners — two each for gardens and window boxes categories. Judging took place on 3 August.

Prizes were donated by Markus Landscape & Gardening, and Brennans Hardware. Scrolls will be presented to all nominees.
