Seniors outing to Kilkenny today
Our picture only shows a few of them on the bus prior to departure, but we can be sure that all of them will have a great day in the City of the Cats.
Their itinerary included tea and scones at the Dolmen Hotel on the way and an evening meal there before returning home.
The organising committee of the day include Kilcullen Senior Citizens Association chairperson Josie Connolly, with Theresa Meaney, Margaret Talbot and Margaret Smith. Josie expressed the appreciation of the Association for the support they get from several groups in Kilcullen, including the Credit Union.
The coaches were sourced from Glasheen's Coaches, Thurles and Marathon Coach Tours, Dublin.
