Kilcullen sign reinstated
The welcome to Kilcullen sign just before the CPC campus has been reinstated, writes Brian Byrne.
The sign was blown down on a windy earlier in the year, but has now been put back in place by Joe Winder from the CE scheme.
“Joe has done a great job, and it would take a hurricane to knock it down again,” says Noel Clare of KCA/Kilcullen Tidy Towns Group, who took the photographs recording the work.
The sign includes scenes of two Kilcullen ‘icons’ — the bridge, and the more recent ‘spear’ monument at the Dun Ailinne Interpretive Park.
