Survey for rural transport local links
The Kildare-South Dublin Local Link transport service is conducting a public survey to get user views input to a new strategic plan for the period 2017-2021, writes Brian Byrne.
They're doing an online version using surveymonkey, with 28 brief questions which will only take two minutes to answer.
The results will inform decisions the the development of existing and new Rural Transport Local Link Services.
The Unit, based in Kildare County Council's HQ in Naas, currently delivers open public transport services along with demand responsive door to door services, using 28 local private operators, allowing access to a fleet of vehicles ranging in size from 14 to 53 seats including accessible vehicles.
Over 100,000 passenger journeys were recorded in 2016.
