Kilcullen GAA Juvenile Club

Following on from the celebrations of the club at the weekend, next Saturday sees the return of the GAA juvenile season, writes Dara Clarke. Registration will take place from 2pm onwards, in the clubhouse, followed by a training session from 2.30-3.30pm.

Behind the scenes, our mentors have already been preparing for the day. Over the past few weeks they have attended their own training sessions, focused on topics including coaching, movement skills, nutrition, avoiding sports injuries and lots more. They are very excited and eager to put their training into practice.

Membership fees for the year start at €60 per juvenile, with reduced family rates. There will also be opportunities to support the club's fundraising activities, including a sports prediction quiz and weekly lotto draw. The club shop will be open over the next few weeks, for members who wish to purchase the Kilcullen kits and training tops. Please remember that gum-shields are mandatory for all GAA players.

GAA is a great opportunity to learn new skills, be a part of a team and make new friends. New members are always welcome. So come along on 4 March, to help kick off the new season. We look forward to seeing you there.
