Another crash at the bridge

Yet another overnight crash has caused considerable damage at the bridge, writes Brian Byrne. And, obviously from the remains there, to the Opel Corsa car that was involved.

We have no further details of time or whether anyone was hurt, but it looks like the car failed to make the turn after coming down the hill.

There have been a significant number of crashes such as this on the bridge in recent years.

Slow down, folks.

Meantime, if you’re walking over the bridge this morning, be careful, it’s very slippy due to the overnight fog and freezing conditions.
