Seminar on community fundraising
A seminar on how communities can access funding is being held in Suncroft Community Complex tomorrow night, Wednesday 11 May, writes Brian Byrne.
It is being hosted by the NGO Clann Credo and will provide information on loans, grants, and other fundraising options for community growth.
Clann Credo is Ireland’s leading provider of community loans to voluntary groups, charities, social enterprises and amateur sports clubs. It celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and has invested over €85 million in community organisations throughout Ireland.
Speakers at the seminar are Jennifer Hennessy, Social Finance Executive for Clann Credo in the North and East Region; Justin Larkin, CEO of County Kildare LEADER Partnership; Liz Roche, Fundraising & Philanthropy Advisor; and Pio Murtagh, Board Member of Suncroft Community Complex.
