Warning about locking cars

A Garda warning about the use of car key signal blockers by thieves asks all car owners to ensure their car is properly locked before they leave them.

The warning urges owners to check manually that their doors, and windows are secure.

The technology used by the thieves has a range of up to 50 metres, and suspicious people may not be immediately obvious. But the Garda asks that all thefts and suspicious activity be reported to them.
