Repairing Desmond damage

Conditions were far from ideal, but the main damage done to the roof of the church by the recent storm Desmond was fixed up today before the rain came through, writes Brian Byrne.

There are still a number of smaller issues to be attended to, including other loose slates, and some flashing on the cross over the dome.

The repair people expect to be able to complete those tomorrow, as weather conditions are forecast to be better.
