Ballymore road on salting list

Kildare County Council is adding the Kilcullen to Ballymore road to the salting route for this winter maintenance, writes Brian Byrne.

This addition is being made as part of a reconfiguration of the road maintenance programme in Kildare so it could take 4-6 weeks for the changes to be implemented.

"Following my work on the road layout at Mile Mill junction the issue of road maintenance in that area has been regularly raised with me by local residents," says Deputy Martin Heydon, welcoming the move. "I am delighted that this issue is now being addressed to make this road safer over the winter months."
