Dr Michael Kelly is retiring
Dr Michael Kelly, who first set up in practice in Kilcullen 27 years ago, is retiring at the end of the month, writes Brian Byrne.
He is the founder of the Kilcullen Family Practice, with Drs Deirdre Collins and Susanne Francke (pictured with him above), who have worked with him since 1994 and 2002 respectively.
The practice was converted into a partnership in 2009, in the interests of ensuring continuity of GP care for patients in Kilcullen's growing community.
Speaking to the Diary, Dr Kelly said he is retiring completely from the practice of medicine, and the HSE is currently informing all of his registered patients and making arrangements for the transfer of their medical records to other doctors in the practice.
We wish him well, without doubt reflecting the feelings of the whole community.
