Camphill vacancy for Assistant Programme Coordinator

The Bridge and Grangebeg Camphill communities are looking for an Assistant Programme Coordinator for their Transitional Training Programme for School-Leavers with a Learning Disability.

The position requires someone with experience in working with young adults with a learning disability and who would have experience and skills in areas such as dealing with challenging behaviour, autism and learning disability and self advocacy; experience with educational programmes for learning disability and modular delivery of learning outcomes; job coaching and facilitating community placements; literacy/numeracy work; experience with life skill coaching; interest in art, crafts, drama, music, sport or PE.

The ideal candidate would also have good time management skills, an ability to encourage and energise others, and be interested in the values and ethos of the Camphill Approach.

A degree of qualification in the educational field/ and or in social care would be an advantage but not essential. A full clean driving licence is required and this post is subject to Garda vetting

This is a permanent contract with a salary of €16 per hour. Closing Date: 05 Aug 2015.
