Midsummer energy
There were only a few moments while a patch of blue played hide and seek during today's midsummer highest point of the sun at the iconic spear monument in the Dun Ailinne Interpretive Park, writes Brian Byrne. But we caught something.
It looks like a bolt of energy coming from the sun to our Kilcullen, though in truth the effect is from lens flare, often a problem for photographers but in this case an artistic helper, maybe.
Or maybe it is some celestial energy coming down to keep us ticking over for the rest of the year. Whatever, you saw it first on the Diary.
