Grant hope for footpath extension

The prospects of having footpaths extended out the Naas Road from Kilcullen has come a bit closer, thanks to representations made by Cllr Fintan Brett and Martin Heydon TD, writes Brian Byrne.

The two representatives have lobbied Minister Paschal Donoghue to have funds for the project provided by the 2015 NTA grants.

It is hoped that the grants will be announced before the end of January.
