Gospel Choir for Christmas lights switch-on this evening

A reminder that the official switch-on of Kilcullen's Christmas lights will take place at 7pm this evening, writes Brian Byrne. And breaking news is that the Kilcullen Gospel Choir, fresh from their recent performance in the Carols by Candlelight event last weekend (above), will be singing there.

Some of the Drama Dynamics youngest performers will be entertaining at the event in Market Square, courtesy of KCA and Santa Claus, and all youngsters (and their parents!) are invited to come along to the fun.

The town Christmas tree was installed last weekend.
