Coffee Morning for Share Food Project

A Coffee Morning in Deputy Martin Heydon's constituency office on Friday morning will help raise funds for the Newbridge Parish Share Food Project, writes Brian Byrne.

The event between 10.30am-12.30pm is open to all, and if you have baking skills, anybody bearing goodies for the morning will be especially welcome.

The Newbridge Share Food Project is a local initiative to help families out in these hard times, and was established less than a year ago by the Newbridge Pastoral Council.

The co-ordinators of the project on behalf of the Council were recently shortlisted for the Rehab Kildare People of the Year awards, showing the impact the project has had.
