Selective graffiti cleaning?

Driving the M50 for the past while I notice lots of graffiti on various bridge supports along the road, writes Kilcullen's Ray Kelly on his Facebook page.

Everything from simple squiggles to very intricate arty drawings — they have been there for months without any sign of being taken down or painted over.

About a week ago a 'Support Gaza' slogan was painted on a south-bound bridge support near the IKEA turn off. Yesterday I noticed this slogan was painted over — professionally like, but all the other graffiti was still visible along the M50 ...

Amazing how Fingal CoCo or the M50 roads authority or whoever could get the finger out when pressure is put on them — obviously there are Israelis in high places in this country. I'll keep an eye on the other graffiti and see if it get the same treatment ... I won't hold my breath.
