Clearance work in Valley

Work commenced yesterday to remove overgrown bushes and trees from the upper slopes of the valley, writes Jim Collins. This work was recommended in a survey done last year.
The clearance will give a better view of the valley, the river and the Canoe Club from the Church road. The cut material is now filling the upper pathway which will be closed to the public.
It may take a few weeks to remove this greenery.
