OVK's aim is to create an environment of inclusion and participation of older people in the county through co-ordinating programmes and activities that encourage older people to get more involved in their communities.

Courses include Aging with Confidence, Voices through Art, The Community Effect, and Your Place in the World. The organisation also supports a Creative Writing Group which meets each week to work on a series of sketches which will make up a live production in May.
