Don't forget Miscellany Sunday

The entertainment line-up for the annual Miscellany on Sunday in aid of Fr John Bermingham's mission in Mozambique is turning out to be no less than spectacular this year, writes Brian Byrne.

With things kicking off from 2pm on Sunday 8 December (that's NEXT Sunday, folks) at the Bermingham family home, it will be non-stop music, song, drama, readings and just great company fuelled by the usual mulled wine and seasonal snacks.

The singers so far committed include Steve Nugent, Keelin Nugent, Laoise Nugent, Monica Martin, Philomena Breslin, Vincent Nolan, Martin Heydon, Phil O’Donnell, Tom McCartan, Lugaidh Moran, Paddy Clarke, Michael Sammon, Rosemary Heydon, Noel O’Brien, Daniel Ryan, and Hannah Bermingham.

Among the regular and new musicians will feature Billy Redmond, Frank Morrow, Stephen Clare, Stephen Ryan, Charles Aniagyei, Eoghan O'Toole, Zi Yan and Deirdre Spillane. Hannah Ryan, Kildare Rose 2013, will attend, and Nessa Dunlea will act as MC for the afternoon. There will be dramatic performances from Bernard Berney, Dick Dunphy, Vivian Clarke, and The Kilcullen Youth Theatre, and readings by John Martin and Ivan Keatley.

Once again there is no admission fee, but donations of any size can be put into a box.
