Call for Girls School pictures

An appeal for old photographs of the Girls National School (now the Parish Centre) beside the Parish Church has been made by Mary Orford, writes Brian Byrne.

Ideally she'd like pictures dating from the 1930s, but anything since then would be appreciated.

Mary would also like for the heritage project she's working on, a photograph of Sr Carmel Thérèse.

"I know how precious old photos can be so I can collect and scan the photos and promise to handle them with care and return them immediately," she promises.
