It's Ollie's Cycle Day

Well, the first leg of the second Ollie's Little Hearts Cycle is now well under way, writes Brian Byrne.



After assembly at the River Cafe, scores of participants took off on the first 50k ride to and from Castledermot. The second leg, 40k, sets off at 1.30pm, and the 10k Fun Cycle element begins at 3pm.

Those who take part in all three will have covered 100k on the day, raising a lot of funds for the Appeal, aimed at helping bring about the new Cardiac Unit in Crumlin Children's Hospital.
