Lit up Ireland from space

Your editor happens to be following, on Google+, the photographic journey around the planet of one Chris Hadfield, a Canadian astronaut aboard the International Space Station.

One of his pictures from yesterday is that above, showing a very clear night-time Ireland and the UK, with the Aurora Borealis above the horizon.
