'Shave or Dye' was a real buzz

Well, the Shave or Dye night in Bardons was a real buzz and slurp of success for cancer research, writes Brian Byrne.

We gave you the names before, now you can see them undergoing their chosen penance in their fundraising, with Amanda Finn from the Hair Emporium doing the honours.

Most of the time, anyhow. Mick Spencer in his inimitable way managed to finesse extra sponsorship in scores, fifties and tons from those spectators who wanted to have a go at the shaving of their 'friends' themselves.
