Another wall well done

Well, it turned out to be a more complex job than originally planned, but the new stone wall in front of the school part of the CPC complex was finally finished last Friday, writes Brian Byrne.

The capping is due to be completed this week, and it will be another job well done for CPC and stonemason Matt Doran and his brother Niall.

Originally envisaged as a repair job, when Matt got to it he found that only the ivy was holding up the remains of the old wall, and there wasn't even a foundation there. What he and Niall have put in place should last several generations.
