Love exhibition at the GFG
A new art exhibition is opening tomorrow (Thursday) in the Good Food Gallery, under a suitable theme for the month that's in it.
The pieces by Fiona Marron are grouped under 'The Love Series & Other Stories' thought, and the official opening will include music by the artist's husband Brian Dunning and readings of poetry with a love theme.
Fiona Marron is a landscape painter based in Clane. Her primary themes have included the local boglands and waterways, especially the River Liffey. Trips to the West of Ireland, particularly Mayo, have inspired a body of her recent work.
Fiona's work is part of many private and public collections including OPW and Bank of Ireland, London branch. She lived in the US for several years and exhibited there extensively.
The GFG exhibition will continue to the end of February, but obviously will have a special significance around the 14th of the month.
