Councillor calls for 'urgent' reinstatement of path
Cllr Ivan Keatley has asked Kildare County Council to reinstate the short piece of footpath outside Brennan's Hardware, 'as an urgent matter of health and safety'.
The narrow piece of path, which had been in very poor condition, disappeared during last week's repair of the road surface on Main Street and Hillside.
“The Council is aware of the problem and will revert to me when they have decided what to do,” the councillor told the Diary. “In the meantime, I'll continue to work for the path’s quick restoration.
