Generous response to Barretstown day
The recent Fun Day organised by Bardons in aid of Barretstown raised €4,000, and the money was lodged to the fundraising account last week.
"Even with the recession, we actually got in more than we did last year, so it just shows how generous people are even if their own circumstances are more difficult," says Linda Price of Bardons.
It is hoped to have an official cheque handover event soon.
