Cottonwood Tree workshops

The Cottonwood Tree has a range of courses planned for the rest of March and April which include introductions to ceramicfelting and children's felt jewellery making.

The ceramic event will be held on March 26, with instruction from Eleanor Swan in working with sheets of porcelain to hand build a unique personal piece. The fee is €40 and a deposit of €10 is required at booking.

On April 9, a felting workshop with Katherina Hughes will concentrate on producing a journal cover. It takes three hours and costs €45, including provision of a hardback journal. Again, a €10 deposit.

A childrens workshop in felt jewellery on April 29 is aimed at particpants from eight years of age upwards. The three-hour event starts at 10am of 2pm with a maximum of eight children per workshop.
