KFM to broadcast in Kilcullen during festival

Local radion station KFM will be broadcasting in Kilcullen throughout the afternoon of the River Festival on Sunday 29 August.

The station will be carrying a full commentary on the Kildare match at Croke Park, in tandem with the big screen showing the match in Market Square.

Family attractions on the day include a Reptile Zoo, a visit to the Bridge Camphill Community garden and weavery, and the more energetic can try their skills at bungee jumping and a bucking bronco.

Events planned on the river itself include pole jousting, canoe polo, and a cross-river tug o'war.

The Lions Club annual Duck Race is also being incorporated into the Festival day.

Books of vouchers for the attractions, and for food and drink, are now on sale at various retail outlets around the town. A book of 12 of the €1 vouchers costs €10.
