Collection raises €1,100

The recent street collection for Kilcullen Tidy Towns raised €1,100, and the organisers, Kilcullen Community Action, have expressed their thanks for the response.

The highly visible part of KCA's work this year is now in full flowering following the planting of 200 window boxes, 40 tubs and a number of flower beds around the town.

Thanks to the infrastructure that is now in place for the flower boxes along the length of Main Street, the project can do more with funds raised. KCA welcomes any continuing financial support for the project.
