Path work welcomed
People in Kilcullen, especially massgoers, are very grateful to Kildare County Council for the fine job on the footpath on the Church Road.
The old surface had been left for decades without treatment and it was only subsequent to a woman having a bad fall a year ago that efforts really got under way by local people and councillors to have the surface fixed.
The final job was done a couple of weeks ago, and is a great credit to the Council's work crew.
Cllr Martin Heydon has asked the Council for a quote to do a similar job on the path from the Hideout cross to Scoil Bhride, for which he intends to allocate some of his discretionary funds allowance.
