WEATHER

Cloudy and wet at first but the rain will clear eastwards on Tuesday morning. The rest of the day will bring a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. A few may turn heavy. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh and gusty, southwest winds, which will ease later.

DID YOU KNOW?

The oldest-known winery was discovered in an Armenian cave in 2007, dating back to some 6,100 years ago. The find comprised wine press, cups, withered grapes, and containers used for fermentation and storage. They were found in the same cave complex where the oldest known leather shoe was discovered.

A trip to Newgrange

Newgrange is only an hour from Kilcullen. If you haven't been, it's well worth the time.
