Badminton night raised €1,100

The recent theatre evening held by the Kildare Badminton Association in Kilcullen raised €1,100 towards coaching young people in the sport.

It was a performance of ‘Poets in Paradise’ by members of Kilcullen Drama Group. The organisers have thanked all who helped make it a success.

“We had a marvelous evening, thoroughly enjoyed by all,” says KBA chair Nora Hogan. “I was especially proud to showcase to the many visiting club members our local Theatre in full voice, and the depth and variety of talent that we have in our community. This event has helped us to fund the many events and activities planned for the coming Season.”
