WEATHER

Cloudy and dry to start this morning. Outbreaks of rain will move in early on from the west, and linger for the day until after nightfall when it gradually clears east. Highs of 9 to 11 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.

DID YOU KNOW?

One of the largest volcanic systems on the planet lies beneath the Antarctic ice sheet, where it is now known that there are at least 138 volcanoes. Most appear to be dormant. Worldwide, there are 1,350 potentially active volcanoes.

The Kilcullen & Gormanstown Parish Lotto Draw is held at 8pm each Tuesday in the Parish Centre. This is a public event to which all are welcome. There's a prize draw each night for those attending. Details of previous Draws are here.

Dunshane Open Day

Camphill Dunshane is holding its annual Open Day on Sunday 21st June (next Sunday).

Everybody is welcome to come and take part, look around, and join in activities.

Time 2-5pm. Parking provided.
