Site plan submissions closing

A new planning application for Andrew Nolan's site on New Abbey Road is proposing a two-storey development of three ground floor retail units and a first floor medical centre.



The application, submitted on 19 March, includes the demolition of the derelict outbuildings which were originally the Old School and subsequently the Scouts Den for many years.

The retail units will total 1,765 sq m, and the medical centre 1,490 sq m.

The final date for submissions is next Wednesday, 22/04/2009.

A previous application relating to the site last year was subsequently withdrawn.
