There have been a couple of changes to recent local stories, at parish level and from the Lions.

In the first instance, the arrival of a Pastoral Parish Worker has now been deferred, because of the travel difficulties it would entail for the person nominated.

The parish assistant was to be seconded to the parish for three months in a placement as part of their training.

Meanwhile, Kilcullen Lions Club has extended its photographic competition's closing date to December 1, from the original September 30, to facilitate the Transition Year in CPC.

The students are anxious to participate in the competition as a class project, but are tied up at the moment in the annual musical.
