Creativity still rules
"It's great to see children still using their own imagination and creativity, and they are to be applauded for that," Pat Stafford of Kilcullen Credit Union said at the recent presentation of prizes for the Credit Union Schools Poster Competition.
"In an era of play stations, non-stop TV, and technology driven children's entertainment, you see too many children just sitting there and being entertained and not using their own creative skills."
He said that the standard in this year's competition was once again 'excellent' and the winning posters in each category had gone on to compete at Chapter level.
