The passing of Noel Hegarty

The Diary has learned with sadness of the death of Noel Hegarty, Yellow Bog and formerly of Moone, Co Kildare.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, and his children Sharon, Lorraine, Philip, Colin, Godfrey, Gavin, Kim, Edwina and Cynthia, as well as by his brothers Gordon, Stanley and Walter.

Noel's remains are reposing at his residence. Removal will take place on Wednesday at 1.15pm to arrive at St Paul's Garrison Church, The Curragh Camp, for a service beginning at 2pm. Interment will take place afterwards in Timolin Churchyard.

We extend our condolences to his family and friends in the community. It has been requested that family flowers only should be sent, and donations if desired may be made to the Dialysis Unit at the Mater Hospital.
