750 years young!
It was one of those nights that would be hard to repeat.
Eleven locals with a combined age in excess of 750 years met in Fallons Cafe Bar to 'venerate' The Saint of New York & Kilcullen, Donal St Leger, who is home on holidays from 'Joisey'.
They shared photographs and stories from as far back as the 1950s when they were all a little younger. So many yarns, and barely enough time to get through only a fraction of what could be told. But there's always another night, isn't there?
The party went on into the late hours, after which everybody was ferried home safely.
