New lighting in church

A new lighting system has been installed in the sanctuary in the parish church.

The new six spotlights replace a pair of lights which, as Fr Andrew O'Sullivan remarked, 'used to blind us while we were speaking from the altar'.



He said the system has enhanced the views of the century-old painting on canvas of the angels at the back of the altar, which has recently been restored.
