The Omagh Connection

An unashamed plug for your Editor's cousin Marella Fyffe suggests that you visit, at least online, the hostel she and her husband Billy run in Omagh, Co Tyrone.

Omagh Hostel is just the place for the idyllic retreat, for romantic explorers, for simply lazing, ideal for bird watchers, amazing for cycling, perfect for rejuvenating your soul. (We stole that line from their website.)

Marella is the daughter of the late Tom and Carmel Byrne of Silliot Hill, Kilcullen, and is yet another 'blogging Byrne' with her own take on the ups and downs of running an eco-tourism business. It is narrated in her 'Banana Rambles'.
